Digital Preservation is something that has grown out of the cultural heritage sector but is now much more widely recognised as a priority for other types of public sector archives and heavily regulated industries.
Our grounding in digital preservation also comes from our experience with both cultural heritage projects and the research communities, where preservation is a key function of Research Data Management.
We have partnerships with two of the main technology providers in this area: Preservica, and our open source option, Archivematica. We work with both of these in a similar fashion: provision of preservation as part of our solutions and integration services to hook preservation into customers existing systems.
When we combine preservation with our other technology and specialisms we can join the dots between preservation, management and the discovery of data and content which is key to ensure that the value of that content and data is truly optimised.
